Recently arrived back with us at RFH Classics is this 1972 (K) MGB GT finished in Woodland Green with Black Vinyl Trim. This chrome bumper GT was sold by us back in December 2021 but following a change of classic car direction he has taken the sad decision to sell the car. The previous owner has made a substantial investment into improving the car during his ownership as he had intended to keep the car long term, all of which helps improve this popular GT model. Prior to this the car changed hands towards the end of 2019 where the then owner set about an extensive list of work which has been detailed in the history folder, the work done included striping and rebuilding the gearbox and overdrive, new fuel tank and sender unit, replacing the clutch, fitted new rear springs, an overhaul of the front suspension along with a comprehensive list of other work undertaken., During the last 18 months, the last owner has given us invoices for the history file detailing some major mechanical improvements to the GT so now the car is now offered back to the market benefitting from MGOC mechanical Power Steering, Luminition Electronic Ignition, New Distributor, New Ignition Lock as well as over hauling the carburettors with new Floats and Needle jets with this work coming at a cost of nearly 4, 000. In addition the car now benefits from having a set of Minilite wheels fitted along with a Wooden steering wheel that really help of set the look of the car., The bodywork on the GT has been repainted, although this was a few years ago now. The chrome work is clean with very minimal makings. The interior of the car is trimmed with Black Weave Style vinyl seat which have recently had new seat foams fitted. The Black trim contrasts well with the exterior body colour and this would be a perfect car for a new owner who wants to enjoy the benefits of all the mechanical work done for them and who will appreciate the addition of the power steering., RFH Classics are Bedfordshires largest
