We offer for sale this totally original 1983 Ford Capri 2.8 Injection in Caspian Blue/Stratos Silver having only two owners and covered 40, 065 miles. Registered new on the 8 August 1983, it was then bought by our second and last owner on the 8 May 1984 and owned ever since. Sadly it comes to us as part of a deceased estate and we liberated it from a garage in London where we understand it had stood for some 20+ years. Fortunately, the garage was dry and consequently it has not suffered from the usual rot problems associated with stored vehicles. We fully recommissioned this Capri, including replacement fuel tank, fuel pump, injectors replaced/cleaned, plugs, filters, brake calipers, discs, pads and new tyres to name a few items. For full peace of mind we put it through an MOT and we're pleased to say it received a clean pass on 6 June 2024. It was stored for that long that there is no MOT history on the Government website! Being from a deceased estate means we have very little in the way of paperwork and history. However, you can easily tell from all aspects of the vehicle that the mileage is very probably genuine and with the little amount of recommissioning work it needed and the way it drives now, it was clearly cherished and well maintained. We are proud to have saved this Capri and would love to show you around. It drives as good as it did back in the 80's and instantly puts a smile on your face.
