In stock with us now at RFH Classics we have this stunning 1972 (K) MGB Roadster finished in Midnight Blue with Black Leather, a very special car as it has been in the same family from new and only done 29.420 from new. We recently purchased this car from the son whos Mother purchased it new and during the last 52 years the family have used the car very little. The last owner told us the story of his Mother arriving home with the car back in 1972 and prior to this she had not told anyone in the family she had brought it so you can imagine it was a big surprise to them. The car was supplied by Tilleys of Dorchester in the April of 1972 and the Mother went on to own the car until 1981 when it was passed to the oldest son who had the car for 10 years before passing it to his Brother in 1991. In 1991 the car was the subject of a major restoration with receipts for a new Heritage bodyshell and the necessary parts to rebuilt the car. The car was in the body shop for around 18 months looking at the invoices we have as it was painted in the Midnight Blue seen today in February 1992. The car has always been stored inside and we have available should the new purchaser want them the original chrome Rostyle wheels that it was supplied new with., Since being with us we have undertaken a very sympathetic refurbishment of the car which has included new carpets to the cabin and boot, wooden rim steering wheel, polished edge Minilite wheels, overdrive overhaul, refurbishing of the leather seats and new side chromes making the car look, in our opinion a very stunning looking MGB. Now, as you can see, the car is ready for the next owner to continue the journey of this low mileage MGB. The last owner decided to sell the car as he was getting very little use out of it but I am sure the new owner will taking full advantage of the car.
