We have just taken this lovely Vauxhall Astra SRI in part exchange against a Volvo S60 from a local customer as he was upgrading to a bigger car. We have extensively road tested the vehicle over 30 miles prior to offering for sale and it drove superbly! It started first time from cold, the 99 BHP engine sounded quiet and it had plenty of power in all 5 gears. The gearbox and clutch both operated nicely with no clunks or crunches when changing up/down. The Astra handled and cornered nicely on the roads with the suspension free from unwanted noises. As you'd expect from a car with such low mileage, the interior is in excellent condition and it smells fresh too! All electrics worked as they should when checked including the dab radio, lane assist, bluetooth, parking sensors and air con which blew cold. You can connect your phone via a USB wire to access Android Auto & Apple Car Play which is a great feature! As it is so cheap to run (Group 6 insurance, £180 for 12 mths tax) it would be an ideal candidate for someone looking for a first car or town runaround. We have got some service history with the car and it has just benefitted from a brand new timing chain and a fresh oil service at a cost of over £900!! We have Mot'd the vehicle and put it through our 47 point safety check which came back from the garage with a clean bill of health.
